The final mower in our series is a commercial one, the Automower® 520. This robotic mower comes optimised for professional use, equipped with Fleet Services™ and Automower® Connect for remote control from a PC, tablet or smartphone. It has a pro user interface that is simplified for use in public areas or by inexperienced users – the only controls on the product itself are START and STOP buttons, and the rest is managed through the app.
This mower has a range of up to 2,200 m² and can handle inclines of up to 45% (24°). It uses GPS-assisted navigation and spiral cutting technology to ensure optimum lawn coverage at all times. It has a weather timer to avoid mowing during harsh frosts, and is weather-proof so can work in the rain.
Your Automower® will be kept safe thanks to GPS theft protection, which tracks the location of the robotic mower to minimize risk of theft. It also has an alarm and PIN code system for further peace of mind. The mower will stop cutting when lifted or tilted and the blades retract upon collision, making it safe to leave running in public spaces as necessary. It uses ultra-silent technology, so can run day or night without disturbance.
This model comes with terrain wheels for increased traction and improved performance on rough ground. It also has wheel brushes on the driving wheels to keep them clean and therefore improve performance.
